Yadayada. Apologies for the 3 different post in a day. Thought I should blog about this since I’ve got the pics in my computer now (rather than in my external hard disk).
Few weeks ago on a Sunday (that’s probably the last time I went out), BF and I went to Marina Square for Hotpot Culture. Shopped at MUJI and bought some snacks (cost me $20+ for just snacks -_-) and shopped around. Above is the photo we took while waiting for bus to town @ the interchange.
Hotpot Culture’s really good. The herbal broth is a must-try. I don’t like the chicken broth though as it tastes quite weird. There were quite a no. of ingredients to choose from – both raw and cooked! I especially loved the beef slices. Very freshy and tasty. Heh heh. What bothered me was the drinks. No free water, and you still need to pay for the drinks. Per cup is about $2~$3+. I find it not really worth it coz’ when having steamboat, LOTS of water is needed. Hence, by ordering the drinks, it’s already costing us quite a bomb. We each ordered 2 drinks.. so waste of money.
Anyway, the chocolate fondue is nice too.. although not much to choose from. There’s only marshmallow and banana. But the chocolate is good – not too sweet not too bitter. Heheh.
We had ice-cream too. Take a look at the photo below.
Isn’t the right one looks disgusting? No prize for guessing who that belongs to. Hurrh.
Oh, and did I tell you? I crave for popcorn and nachos badly now. Really.
Time for some movies and furniture shopping at IKEA (probably this weekend!). *Excited*
Cooked the above dishes few days back when my Mom didn’t want to cook and when my sister and I were lazy to go out to buy food back. Hence, I came up with this brilliant idea of cooking. Where sister helped me with preparing the ingredients – washing the vegetables, etc. Glad that we managed to find some ingredients in the fridge! Yummy prawns.. sliced beef and vegetable.
Mom was VERY satisfied with it, I know! What’s more? A heart-felt meal! With my sweat.. and.. effort, of course! Hehehh.
Been wanting to cook more lately, but starting to feel lazy as baby nephew has been staying over quite frequently.. especially these few days where his mother (my eldest sister) wasn’t around to look after him.
Gaaggaahhh.
Random.. random.
Economy is bad now. Real bad. Hit Singapore.. real. Bad. So, what do I do?
Gahh.
Something is amissed. Really. It was all those stupid crazy life-stunts, again. I’m always faced with shits-challenges.
No contacts. Really.
Misunderstandings are shits. I tell you. They are.
If all humans are born with a open heart and no prejudiced mind, the world is peace. And yes, I mean it. P . E . A . C . E!
I am so. going. to faint.
OH wait. After almost 20 (or more) lesson of driving on the road, today at 6.30pm – 8pm, I hit the circuit! FUNNNNNNN and so much stress. Especially the slopes. I tell you. It’s CRAZY. I rolled back so quickly, like madness. I hate it when I have to apply the handbrake. HATE.
Ok, I am really going off now.
Really.
STOP reading my post, will you?? I am going off!
STOP IT!!!
Okkk, bye.
P.S: this sucks. I can’t < br >< br >< br > < br > the last part. You know what I mean? Whatever.
Don’t you want this too? Hurrrh.
Authentically cooked by none other than the professional chef – ME.
Heheh. You wanna try it? ^^
As of title, and hence, it will make me blog a little lesser. Hoho.
Nonetheless, I’ll still try to blog as often as I can every now and then. I’m just so packed with lots of stuff, which of course, includes my new working life (& trying to adapt), as well as my driving lessons (which I want to make it a point to go at least once every week).
Well, the distance’s really near. So.. it’s GOOODDD.
P.S: I LOVE YOU, HUBBY! Let’s get married soon, ok?? LOL. And, I want to eat steamboat again! ![]()
When the girls met up with me for my Birthday celebration 1 month ago, we have decided that this year we shall not buy any gifts for one another and just a meet-up, catching up with one another will do. Hence, we decided that for CX’s birthday, we would have steamboat at Geral’s house.
We met up yesterday at BP Plaza NTUC for some groceries shopping. CX overslept (as expected when I couldn’t reach her mobile) and thus only Geral, HK and I did the shopping. We bought quite a number of ingredients and the total bill cost us $50.35! We bought Prawns, Crab-stick, 3 packs of Fishballs (1 normal type, 1 beef ball and 1 chicken ball), Squid, Golden Mushroom, Beef, Dumplings, and etc. After which, we took LRT back to Geral’s house.
First we prepared the soup (which was of the easiest method) by adding the 鸡精块 (not sure what’s it called in English, lol) and 2 chicken bones. Next, we were busy preparing the rest of the ingredients in the kitchen. The outcome was very satisfying and it was simply delicious!

We took a number of photos before and after we ate.
And yes. I had lots of fun with them. We were also suggesting to meet-up for mahjong session next. Hoho.
& guess what? My 3rd driving lesson tomorrow. I pray I won’t stall on the damn road again. -_-
Not to forget, my favorite drama now is GOSSIP GIRL! All thanks to xiaohei for introducing me. I get totally hooked onto this drama. Simply.. sexy. Woohoo! I love SERENA, like.. crazy. HAHA.
