Hee. Have you guessed it right? The above’s bought by Boyfriend from Australia, Perth for me and my family. The heartshape chocos, red wine, koala bear pencil and the Koala Bear Cystal ball are for me. The rest are for my Mom. Very thoughtful of him coz’ he still remember that my Mom loves powdery chocos, nougats. The funniest thing was, he didn’t get anything from himself. lol. I guess it’s pretty easy to get some souvenirs for people when you’re overseas… but when comes to buying your own stuffs, it might be a little difficult. It’s either nothing attracts you or the prices too expensive. Geessh.

I love this thing. I wish I could own a real koala bear. I’ll hug it everyday to sleep. lol. How adorable!

We headed off to town after he came to pass me the souvenirs. Met up with Chris for awhile as she needed to do scrapbooking (her 1st time doing it) for her friend’s birthday on Wednesday. I didn’t have time on that day to do it with her and hence I could only help her to source for the materials @ Plaza Singapura’s Spotlight & Made with Love.

Boyfriend and I reached early and we went to Pastamania for our lunch while waiting for Chris.

When she arrived, she joined us for lunch too. After lunch we went to shop for scrapbooking materials and Boyfriend bought movie tickets for 4:30pm’s. Chris managed to grab all the materials she needed and apparently, I spent about S$30 again for the stuffs. I guess all in all, I’ve spent near S$100 or more this week for scrapbooking. You’ll know why soon.

Anyway, after shopping, we parted with Chris. The movie ended at about 7pm. Boyfriend and I headed to Carrefour to grab some sushis and beer. We brought the food to Fort Canning Park to eat. Apparently the place’s quite secluded. It’s EXTREMELY dark and I got pissed off coz’ of the mosquitoes bites I had! But still, I enjoyed every moment with him.

So here’s the Heineken beer we bought. Boyfriend’s got influenced by his trip to Perth. lol. They were all drinking wine and beer everyday and so, there he goes.. Haha, but apparently it’s good that he knows where’s his limits… and I believe he still prefers wine than beer! I love Heineken in someway or another. It tasted so much better than Tiger, ABC, etc. Geesshh. Did I mentioned I love the bottle too?

Well so, we headed home after that. ^^

Ok! So here comes the scary part – my scrapbooking materials.

Bought the above yesterday. lol and you’ll be surprised what I have in total…..

Hee. The pink plastic bag’s all my scrapbooking patterned papers and plain papers. The spotlight plastic bag’s all my stickers. LOL. Scary huh. I’ll show you why..

See! That’s A LOT of patterned papers! Most are from my 3rd sis as she bought a whole stack of patterned papers online and she gave me last year. Some didn’t match what I am supposed to do now and hence I bought extra. Very insane, I know.

Next up. The stickers! I’ve got a whole lots of them.. even before I love to scrapbook, I’ve got a hobby of buying and collecting nice, unique and cute stickers.. so here we are. After compiling all of them together, that’s a full bag of stickers I have for scrapbooking. I’ve got more stickers but they’re irrelevant to scrapbooking.. so.. yup. lol!

I’ve got a tool box for scrapbooking actually but I didn’t take a picture of it. In it there are many ink pads, stamps, glue tape, buttons, etc. Lol. I don’t know why but when I’ve got a certain hobby, I’ll tend to buy almost everything as part of my collection. Somehow it’s more convenient this way – whenever I needed something for scrapbooking, I need not worry that I’m lack of some tools/materials. Geeshh.

So I guess I’ll end my post.. and before I do, here’s a picture of my handsome boy over at Perth last week.

21st Birthday Celebration with Friends

So yessss. Finally get to meet up with the girls yesterday! It’s nice to know that since we graduated from elementary school, we are still taking the efforts to meet at least 3-4 times every year to celebrate each other’s birthday as well as to catch up. We’ve all know each other for 10 years already! How time flies!

First I met up with Cx at Plaza Singapura coz’ I needed to buy something at Daiso and Spotlight. Hk and Dean were busy and hence couldn’t meet us up earlier. I could actually spend more but coz’ of tight budget, I only managed to get 1 item from Spotlight and some stuffs from Daiso. Geesshhh. In addition, I came to realized that both Cx and Hk loves scrapbooking too. We’ve decided to arrange to meet up again probably in May/June to go shopping for some scrapbooking necessity and scrap together.

After which, we headed to Fortunte Cuisine at Sunset Way (Clementi) for steamboat and charcoal BBQ buffet! As Cx and me reached earlier, we went in first. However, when Cx reserved the table, she was not told that there were 2 different seating areas – 1 indoor with aircon which you are not able to BBQ, and another would be outdoor seats where you can BBQ. We were given indoor seats and when Hk and Dean came, we changed to outdoor’s.

The whole process of having steamboat + BBQ outdoor was very uncomfortable as it was really hot (no fan and no wind!). At the end of the dining, we were all sweaty and sticky. Grrrr. But the food was great and service was EXCELLENT. We can choose 2 types of soup base and hence we chose 1 tom yum and 1 chicken soup (as recommended by the staff). The varierty was good enough and the meat were fresh. There were sashimi/sushi and some dessert. Apparently, I was a little disappointed with the dessert coz’ by the time we finished our steamboat (we took only 2 rounds) at around 9+pm, the dessert were almost all gone. The cakes were left only 1 each and I thought the service could be better such that if they were about to close, or not replenishing the buffet table etc, they should have informed us. Hehehh. I know I sound like a typical Singaporean, but no choice! Imagine if we didn’t have any birthday cake to replace on that day, what could we eat after dinner for dessert?? Empty plates and bowls?? lol!

Surprisingly, they bought me a birthday cake too and it’s my favorite.. MANGO and fruits of course! When they took it out, about to sing me a birthday song etc, the nice Aunty D _ _ _ s (whom we got familiar with on that day), came to ask who’s birthday and she started calling us  “mei nu” (“pretty girl” in chinese) and wished me Happy Birthday. The Aunty was very kind and she even asked us for our contact number. She showed us a picture of a dessert she made – some Jelly with Mango, lime, etc and she told us that she would make it for us and will contact us when it’s done. The picture itself looks very yummy. I’m sure the dessert in real would taste heavenly!

When the girls started singing me a birthday song, the table behind us joined in too! It was rather hilarious for strangers to do that.. Heheh. So embarrassing. Anyway, as we couldn’t finish the cake, we cut half of it and gave it to the Aunty and her colleagues. From her face, I know she was happy. Haha!

Cx scrapbooked a birthday poster (whatever you call it) and they shared to buy the S$100 Faceshop vouchers for me! How sweetttt! The Faceshop voucher’s actually in my Birthday Wishlist in my blog. How observant eh? lol

We sat around and talked and at about 10pm or so, we decided to head back to Bukit Panjang Plaza’s Starbucks to chill.

Anyway, here’s a short little message for you girls! Thank you all for always taking an effort to meet up despite us not in the same school since 10 years ago. As we all grow older, our interests and group of friends are different but I am so glad no matter how different our lifestyle might be, we are still remembering each other. I’m so grateful to have a bunch of girls like you all and thanks for the crazy night (as always). Thank you all for the gifts and well wishes and may our friendship last for a lifetime. I hope we will still meet up occasionally not just for birthday celebration! ^^ Thank you again and I love you all!

“Just Noodle” @ Suntec

Yessss. Finally. Another gathering with my girls yesterday @ Just Noodle Suntec. The food is relatively reasonable and portion is ok too. Except one of the side dish we ordered. Some cod fish. When served, only 4 pieces! Must be they go according to head count ah.

Anyway, it has always been a great and enjoyable moment spending time together with the girls. Not sure if they feel the same, but I do think it’s really great to keep in touch since so many years ago after we all went separate ways from our Elementary School. I could still remember those times.. we did have some conflicts and all. But well, it’s really childish to think about it, lol. I would sometimes laugh at it when I think about it.

Honestly, I feel greatful to have them in my life. I know despite they “different worlds” we are living at now, we all still care about each other. At least, I do.

So anyway, we had a long chat. After which, we headed off to the Arcade. Before that, we took this photo while we were in the restroom.

So. Yes. We proceed to the Arcade. Played stackers twice and we (CX and I) did not win anything. I almost won it, but.. failed. Damn. Full of cheats. -_-”

Finally! Coffee Club @ Takashimaya

Met up with my girl today. It’s been AGES since we last met. Really! We had our lunch @ Coffee Club Takashimaya. I ordered some lobster sandwich + Ice rambuttan drink. While she ate some baked rice. Costs me about $25 for just a meal. Tried using my UOB Visa and it was declined. Mind you, it’s a DEBIT CARD! See how poor I am now.

We had a long chat. She managed to bought what she wanted as there was a Nike sales going on at the basement. I want to get one too, but couldn’t see anything that I really like. Furthermore, I’m pretty much tight on cash now since tomorrow I still gotta spend – another gathering (meeting my primary school’s girls).

Took some photos and here’s 2 that I really like. I look damn fat and ugly now, lah.

Fortunately Baby was suggesting to go stadium for a run. Since he has to train his stamina for his NAFA, it’s a good time for me to SLIM DOWN!! Yay *cheers* I think we both have to motivate one another to exercise. I swear when he is back, we will be heading to the stadium at least twice every week! Should be enough right. LOL.

Past few days baby and I caught My Best Friend’s Girl and after which we headed off to Hardrock Cafe for dinner. Image is rather blur as it was taken in the night indoor. Pardon me!

I miss my Baby so much. So.. very much. He’s out from Singapore since Friday morning at 630am. He will only be back on Tuesday. Shits. My life is so empty without him. He’s enjoying his navigation trip while I’m suffering here without him. lol, getting very emo! It’s ok, it’s ok. Few more days and he will be back!

Few calls and smses.. terrible! Why must calling/sms be so expensive when you’re out from Singapore? Damn.
