Hong Kong Trip [Part 1]

October 1, 2008

As promised!

I won’t be updating all at one shot as I’m incredibly LAZY lately to edit and upload my photos. lol. So, be glad you’re able to see a few. At least, for now!

So yes. I went to Hong Kong with BF and my family on the 17th September 2008. Traveled with Jetstar Asia. Very glad to board the plane from Changi Airport, Terminal 1. But very disappointed when I reached HK. You will know why later!

While I was high up in the sky, I took this image. No idea why but I love it many. Spot the moon, ok?

So well, when we reached there, we had to alight this way.

Something new to me. lol. So budget, eh? Furthermore had to take a bus to the terminal!

We took a long time to pass the custom. Super long queue! There were many people, but only a few counters were opened. We touched down at Hong Kong at about 10:30am, and we only reached our Hotel at near 1pm. Super wasted!

What made me happy was the EXCELLENT service at Nathan Hotel! I shall not elaborate more.. but they really did made me feel like home. Probably even better! They fulfilled all my requests and even provided extra services to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

What we paid for was really worth every cents. Really. So much better than Marco Polo, which I stayed in last year.

So beautiful!

Can you imagine I had a totally good night’s sleep throughout my whole trip in HK in Nathan Hotel? I managed to fall asleep peacefully and not waking up in the middle of the night feeling uncomfortable. I simply love Nathan Hotel. Superb!!

…. to be continue.

I am back from Hong Kong!

September 20, 2008

I AM BACK!

The moment the plane touched down in Singapore’s airport, I felt a tremendous heartache. I hate to be back. Totally.

Anyway, a short trip to Hong Kong and it was simply WONDERFUL. Enjoyed every single moment. I will go back there again for sure. Hopefully soon! lol

More updates with photos later!

I will be away from 17th – 20th!

September 16, 2008

Planned to update before I leave for Hong Kong, but too busy to do so. Hence, here’s a quick one.

I got to wake up at 3am later to prepare as my flight is at 6:40am. I will be away to Hong Kong from 17th to 20th. Simply EXCITED. Travelling is always good eh.

In addition, I changed to a new phone – Samsung OMNIA i900. I’m still trying to figure out this very complicated phone. Hence, if you are experience or same like me – a learner, comment in this entry please! Share, share! :)

So, BYE! Bon voyage to me!

Title-less.

July 23, 2008

I’m lost at words whenever I tried to blog. Probably coz’ it has been ages since I blog consecutively. I don’t blog as frequent as I used to anymore. Damn! That explains why I could not even come up with a better title. Hence, “title-less”. Duh. :(

Well, the latest movie I caught was “The Dark Knight”.

Even before this movie was screened on cinemas, I had already been anticipating it after I watched “Batman Begins”. What can I say? The Dark Knight is simply awesome, although there are parts which are quite predictable. All in all, it is definitely a movie worth watching for. The impact was simply unexplainable. What’s more? This poster is BREATH-TAKING! It took my breath away~ heh!

Anyhoos (I mean, “anyway”), as promised, my LOMO PHOTOS! Pardon of the poor quality. My scanner is giving me a bit of problem lately. Probably coz’ it’s been ages since I last touched it. Ha!

Here’s some of my successful shots using Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim camera.

Pretty, pretty eh! I had so much fun snapping away. lol. Which means, it’s burning my pocket into a big hole. 1 film costs me about $5~$6, and each roll when developed costs me another $15~$22. My addiction is super scary! Tsk tsk.

Besides owning Vivitar, I owned a Fisheye 2, white edition!

Apparently, such cameras require “skills”. You can shoot wherever, whenever you like. However, it takes great risk. It’s not like a digital camera where you can get instant shot and delete it right away if it isn’t nice. I’m basically risking all my shots away, crossing fingers that it will turn out well. Disappointing enough, my first roll failed badly. Second roll wasn’t that bad, in fact I’m quite satisfied with it. Although it can be better. Whereas for my third roll, it’s quite a disappointment, again. :(

Ok, so this was taken from my 1st roll. Which is one of the very few successful ones. Gees. So now, enjoy from my 2nd roll shots!

After viewing my pics, aren’t you having the urge to get one too? Ha! :P

Oh, and did I mention I am flying to Hong Kong soon, again!? Finally after 1year. HA! Simply excited although it’s only a mere 3 days 2 night trip. A great time to relax and escape from work. -_-” More updates about my trip soon! Meanwhile, if you have great recommendation for shopping, dining and accommodation, leave me a comment! :D
