As of title, and as promised, the long awaited post is finally here!
Yes, yes. Quite a outdated entry, but well, I did still blog quite frequently on the past few days to keep you readers entertained, right? ^^
18th April 2008
This day is incredibly wonderful, although the celebration was simple. It was none other than my 20th Birthday Celebration! Like, shat! I now sound so much older. How time flies when I was still 16, 17, 18?? 1 more year and I will be officially an adult. I still feel like a kid now though.. especially with Baby around. tsk.

So basically, I had two types of birthday cakes on this special day. My beloved niece was telling my Mom and sis that they ought to buy me a cake, and she wanted to surprise me with that. How cute and thoughtful she was! She’s only 6 years old, by the way. So, well, above was the cake she chose. Amazingly enough, they all know I love FRUIT CAKES! No coffee, no chocolate, or whatever other flavor, please. Only, FRUITS!
Well, anyway, I had a little birthday celebration at home (cutting of cake), and then I proceed to BF’s place for another round of celebration, which only had both of us..and it was such a romantic night. I appreciate every little effort that he had done for me that day and he is the sweetest man one could have. No special gifts or anything on that day. Just a simple dinner together at home, and some romantic moments together. ^^ Afterall, he bought me a Chihuahua Puppy which costs him a bomb weeks ago before my Birthday.
I merely hinted BF that it would so awesome when I stepped into his house, the floor would be filled with balloons. To my surprised, he went down last minute to minimart to get balloons and blow them up himself. How thoughtful and sweet he was! He was actually busy preparing ingredients and all for our dinner, and when I wanted that something special, he simply went to the extend of getting it for me. I feel so blissed.

Although it didn’t filled the whole floor, I still find that it was really wonderful of him to do such a special thing for me when I merely just hinted him of “how-i-wished-for-certain-things-to-happen” kind of scenerio. I didn’t really mean it nor exactly a must-have for me.. but well, you know.. I was just so speechless of his every little action.
So, here comes the best part. While BF was preparing and cooking, I snapped quite a number of photos – the food, and of course, him.
Our first dish was pasta – cream bacon and spinach. It was BF’s first time preparing this wonderful pasta for me and it tasted 101% perfffectttly delicious! He’s such a great chef.
The Bacons!

While cooking the spinach together with the Bacon.

And, tada! When everything is mixed well with the cream sauce!

The outcome of the most delicious pasta in the world!

Well, seriously, nothing beats home-cooked food! What’s more can you asked for when your beloved darling spent few hours sweating like crazy in the kitchen preparing really delicious food that you craved and loved the most?
So, here’s the big chef concentrating on his cooking.

I love this man like crazy. Ridiculously insane & all over him.
We had some wine and we chatted while we ate our pasta. As soon as BF was done with his pasta, he proceed to prepare the steak.
When marinating the steak.

Geez, I was drooling away when BF was cooking this.

Oh, and my favorite pack of wedges to go with the steak!

Lastly, it was all well cooked to be served!

We both felt really bloated after two main courses. lol. In fact, I was feeling full when I had the pasta. What’s more? BF surprised me with a birthday cake soon after we finished our dinner.
Written as, “Happy Birthday, Wifey!”

Heehee. BF was simply great at surprising me. He often gave me surprises which made me felt like crying. Which, in fact, there were cases whereby I shed tears. He’s just fond of seeing me in tears!
Well, he did gave me a Birthday card too. Everything was so well-planned and memorable. I love this guy like crazzzyyyy.
So here’s Beanie, sitting on my desk. Geez.

Singapore Youth Flying Club, Private Pilot License Graduation Ceremony! I am so proud to announce that my Baby was one of them to graduate on that day! His effort has finally been paid off and he is now officially a Private Pilot! I was so honored to be invited to this event and the feeling to see him got his wing was such a tremendous heart-felt happiness for me!
The stage!

I did not really listen to what the Guest-of-Honor had said, but I do know that on that day, there were 37 graduates, which, very fortunately enough, BF was one of them! He was looking all good that day. The most gorgeous man you could ever see there. lol, ok. Pardon me.

So after the ceremony, we were asked to go to the refreshment corner for some small bites.
The weather was a killer though. The area was not air-conditioned and hence we were all sweating like crazy especially BF. I had to wipe away his pearl-like sweat drops especially at the end of the ceremony when we were about to leave. I don’t understand why some people like my BF could sweat so easily, whereas it takes such a long time for me to sweat. Urgh. Weird.
Anyway, we took some photos together before we left. Enjoy!
Spot my handsome BF!

Us.

BF’s beautiful pilot wing.

P.S: I love you, Baby! & congratulations for being the real pilot now! Hee.

I had a very bad sorethroat on Saturday’s night I guess. I lost my voice like almost totally. I couldn’t even talk and had a hard time trying to say what I want to say. It feels terrible.
I still met up with my girls though. Reason was because I felt really bad if I were to postpone the date again. Afterall, it was a gathering + belated birthday celebration for me. Quite tough to find a date that matched our schedule though.
Well, it was really nice to meet up with them and I feel really wonderful to have them in my life since primary school days. It has been so many years and our friendship is still growing on strong!
We first went to Cineleisure to have our lunch at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe. Each ordered our main course, and we shared a dessert too. We ordered the same drink – Iced Milk Tea.

I felt really terrible that day for not being able to talk much. I wanted to, but was held back by my subconcious brain that I had no voice to pronounce my words properly. Felt like shat. Thank Goodness that the girls are enjoying themselves too despite me not being able to talk much. lol. But well, I enjoyed myself totally too even just by listening to their “stories”.
Here’s my girls.

And, me with 2 of them!

We chatted for a long time in the cafe. CX shared with us her experiences when she was a student nurse in some hospitals, including Mental Hospital. Very amazing how things worked, and how abortion is done. Felt rather disgusted to hear it though, ha!
After which, we headed to Heerens and Paragon to shop. CX had to leave earlier than us and hence we took a few photos before we left.
I accidentally cuts HK’s face off totally. Whoops!

Ok, these are better! Hee.

Last pic taken before we left.

Had a really fun day with them though it was only a mere few hours.
CX’s birthday is coming up next and we have decided to meet on the 24th May at Geral’s house for steamboat. Can’t wait for that day to arrive.

Crazily enough, I spent about 2hours+ updating this post. Had a tough time uploading the photos due to my screwed up laptop and internet connection.
Here’s a random photo before I end my post.

Cooked this weeks ago. Baby potatoes with olive oil, garlic, rosmary, etc. Awesome!
