Pool Game!

July 20, 2009

SNC02814 copy

BF and I were planning to check out ION Orchard earlier yesterday but decided not to in the end. Lazing around and end up getting ready for pool at around 8:30pm. :P Headed off to our usual pool hall @ Bukit Timah and had a few round of games. Went off at about 11:15pm as BF needs to report to work later.

Wasn’t really into playing pool but BF managed to influence me. Now I even have the urge to buy the cue sticks. Some are as cheap as only S$48! I’m not a pro in playing pool but wanting to own my cue stick’s partly due to hygiene too (outside ones are either too oily or too sticky!). I’m still trying to figure what’s the best way to choose a good cue that suits each individuals. I believe the length, weight etc makes a great difference. If you have any ideas, do share by commenting! :)

I simply can’t wait to own my own personally cue stick. Gee. :P

Hee. Have you guessed it right? The above’s bought by Boyfriend from Australia, Perth for me and my family. The heartshape chocos, red wine, koala bear pencil and the Koala Bear Cystal ball are for me. The rest are for my Mom. Very thoughtful of him coz’ he still remember that my Mom loves powdery chocos, nougats. The funniest thing was, he didn’t get anything from himself. lol. I guess it’s pretty easy to get some souvenirs for people when you’re overseas… but when comes to buying your own stuffs, it might be a little difficult. It’s either nothing attracts you or the prices too expensive. Geessh.

sovenirs02

I love this thing. :P I wish I could own a real koala bear. I’ll hug it everyday to sleep. lol. How adorable!

We headed off to town after he came to pass me the souvenirs. Met up with Chris for awhile as she needed to do scrapbooking (her 1st time doing it) for her friend’s birthday on Wednesday. I didn’t have time on that day to do it with her and hence I could only help her to source for the materials @ Plaza Singapura’s Spotlight & Made with Love.

Boyfriend and I reached early and we went to Pastamania for our lunch while waiting for Chris.

friend01

When she arrived, she joined us for lunch too. After lunch we went to shop for scrapbooking materials and Boyfriend bought movie tickets for 4:30pm’s. Chris managed to grab all the materials she needed and apparently, I spent about S$30 again for the stuffs. I guess all in all, I’ve spent near S$100 or more this week for scrapbooking. You’ll know why soon.

Anyway, after shopping, we parted with Chris. The movie ended at about 7pm. Boyfriend and I headed to Carrefour to grab some sushis and beer. We brought the food to Fort Canning Park to eat. Apparently the place’s quite secluded. It’s EXTREMELY dark and I got pissed off coz’ of the mosquitoes bites I had! But still, I enjoyed every moment with him. :P

beer01

So here’s the Heineken beer we bought. Boyfriend’s got influenced by his trip to Perth. lol. They were all drinking wine and beer everyday and so, there he goes.. Haha, but apparently it’s good that he knows where’s his limits… and I believe he still prefers wine than beer! :P I love Heineken in someway or another. It tasted so much better than Tiger, ABC, etc. Geesshh. Did I mentioned I love the bottle too? :P

Well so, we headed home after that. ^^

Us01This was taken when we were on the way out in the afternoon.

Ok! So here comes the scary part – my scrapbooking materials.

scrapbook4

Bought the above yesterday. lol and you’ll be surprised what I have in total…..

scrapbook3

Hee. The pink plastic bag’s all my scrapbooking patterned papers and plain papers. The spotlight plastic bag’s all my stickers. LOL. Scary huh. I’ll show you why..

scrapbook1

See! That’s A LOT of patterned papers! Most are from my 3rd sis as she bought a whole stack of patterned papers online and she gave me last year. Some didn’t match what I am supposed to do now and hence I bought extra. :P Very insane, I know.

scrapbook2

Next up. The stickers! I’ve got a whole lots of them.. even before I love to scrapbook, I’ve got a hobby of buying and collecting nice, unique and cute stickers.. so here we are. After compiling all of them together, that’s a full bag of stickers I have for scrapbooking. I’ve got more stickers but they’re irrelevant to scrapbooking.. so.. yup. lol!

I’ve got a tool box for scrapbooking actually but I didn’t take a picture of it. In it there are many ink pads, stamps, glue tape, buttons, etc. Lol. I don’t know why but when I’ve got a certain hobby, I’ll tend to buy almost everything as part of my collection. Somehow it’s more convenient this way – whenever I needed something for scrapbooking, I need not worry that I’m lack of some tools/materials. Geeshh.

So I guess I’ll end my post.. and before I do, here’s a picture of my handsome boy over at Perth last week. :P

bfpilotI <3 you, Mr. Pilot

More updates tomorrow! Collecting of new passport and watching Transformers: Revenge of the fallen! Can’t wait!!!!

I’m glad u love the surprise I gave u when u r back.
The 7-days-emails I sent..
Glad it melts your heart. <3

I love you!

BF away for a week

June 15, 2009

australia

Spent the night with him yesterday over at his place. We slept at almost 2AM and woke up 5:45AM as he needed to leave his house at 6:30AM. He sent me home and went off to the Airport. He will be flying off to Australia soon as of now.

Gonna miss him crazily for a week! Like WTH huh. For a mere 1 week I’m gonna be so lonely without him.. what about my 3 months away from Singapore, my BF and family? Damn.

Yada yada.. can’t wait to see him next Monday. Geeshhhhhhh.

I love you, I love you!
Can’t wait to see you soon Baby.
Have a safe flight!

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

June 12, 2009

ghosts_of_girlfriends_past

Marvelous! Watched this movie yesterday and I love this movie tremendously. Would give it a 4.9/5. A very heart-warming love story and such story is difficult to come by in reality. Geessh. Too fairy-tale like BUT the role of Matthew McConaughey reflects a real truth of what “playboys” are. If only all playboys in this world would STOP being like one and realized what true love/sex truely means, how perfect would life be?

I love Jennifer Garner. Somehow I think she’s hot. Geessh.

A thumbs up for this movie. Not to be missed!

Living life like a “Tai-Tai”

June 9, 2009

CB067506

So here I am.. living a very unreal “tai-tai” life for many months. Been enjoying myself tremendously especially with the company of both my Mom and BF. (If only life’s that easy whereby you can do whatever you want, geessssh) And sad to say, I’ll be permanently stucked in the workforce for at least 1.5 to 2 years. I must say it will be a very challenging and brain-wrecking career.  Aside of having to be independent and rely-on-ownself for every single things, the good point is, this career is 100% guaranteed to be the best-est of all (in general). Hence, if I do not start to take a big step forward to challenge myself to the extreme, when can I?

Feeling heavy-hearted as there are many issues to consider – more on personal factors. 3 months out from Singapore and my own “comfort zone”. Can I survive? Jeeesshhh.

Anyway, I’ve been going to the Pool Hall around SG (searching for the cheapest ones) with BF whenever we have the car to use. Been playing consecutively a few days lately and it was awesome. The first time I tried playing Pool in real was a few weeks back at Marina Square with BF and Mom. It was damn fun and I got addicted since then. I’m no pro definitely but a extremely FAST LEARNER! What to do..  all thanks to my Master – the BF.

:P Super fun. It’s officially listed under one of  “my favorite hobbies” now.

Love doing stuff together with my lovely boy. Freaaaakinngggg romanticcccccc.

Uh, sorry for the sudden ending. Time to sleep now as it’s 2:40AM!!! More later.

21st Birthday with Boyfriend!

April 21, 2009

bfhelping01BF helping me with my sandals :P

fambdaycake01Birthday cake from Sister.

Heheh. So, on 18th April 2009, before BF came to fetch me, sister bought me a birthday cake. My family gave me red packets and besides that, Mom gave me a very meaningful gift – a “21st” logo pendant. I’ve always wanted that and few years ago, I told Mom about it. Surprisingly she told me that even when I didn’t ask that from her, she already knew I wanted it and had already bought the pendant long ago. I felt really touched when she gave it to me and I gave her a big fat hug. Mom’s always the best.. but besides her, I know I can count on my BF too!

bdaywbf_beautifultoesMy beautiful toes specially designed for that day (with help from sister)

bdaywbf01Taken on the way to Marina Square

BF was very mysterious and he gave me a lot of suspenses on that actual day (oh, many thoughtful surprises too. read on!). I can’t believe how amazing he is as a Boyfriend (I’m sure he makes a good husband material too!). He always put in a lot of effort to make me feel special especially during such significant ocassion. I always feel that he’s very different from other guys.. he does thing very differently and he’s a man way beyond my imagination at some point of time.

Anyway, BF reached my place at about 3:15pm and he looked all exhausted and sweaty. I thought it was because of the hot weather and the journey from his place to my place and hence the look. However, I noticed something was missing – he didn’t carry anything with him (my gifts???). I knew he had it all hided somewhere. I was totally confused and had mixed feelings coz’ I didn’t know what was he up to.

We took a cab from my lobby and he told the taxi driver to take us to Marina Square. Again, I felt weird. “Why are we going there?” I asked BF. He said he planned to take me for dinner in the evening but as it was still early, he wanted to bring me there for shopping first (of course, it comes with those cheeky expression). I was like “Huh?! On such an important occasion, you bringing me for shopping?!” I was speechless but in my heart, I knew he had it all planned.

When we reached the Taxi Stand, he said he needed to go get something and when we took the escalator up, he brought me to another direction leading to the Pan Pacific Hotel. He told me since it was still early, he decided to bring me there to chill as his friend had recommended him that there was a newly opened cafe/pub in that hotel. I was like “Really meh?! You booked a hotel room is it!!!” He just kept giving me those cheeky (and of course, very cute!) expression and kept grinning away. I was totally stunned when we stood infront of the reception. HE REALLY BOOKED A HOTEL ROOM IN PAN PACIFIC! After all the check-in procedures (had to register myself too), we proceed to 16th floor. When we were in the lift, I had an unexplainable feeling.. I felt so excited, so loved, so speechless.. It was just so unbelievable and I couldn’t even put them into words. It felt like as though I was floating in the air with almost a suffocated feeling of being choaked with the “Love Air” surrounded me.

When we reached 16th floor, he asked me to wait outside and not go in with him. He needed to set up the video camera (to record my retarded surprised look LOL) and to make sure everything was ok-ay inside. I waited impatiently outside the door and couldn’t stop pacing up and down.. Geessshh. When he finally invited me and closed my eyes with his hands, I felt very nervous and definitely anxious to see what was going to unfold. When I saw it, I was astounded, really.

bdaywbf03

bdaywbf04

bdaywbf05

bdaywbf06

bdaywbf07Look at the bed! See how much effort he has put in, ALONE!!

I teared when I saw the bed.. the balloons.. the rose petals.. the gifts.. the overall layout. I couldn’t believe he did it all himself without any help or ideas from anybody. He actually went to check-in himself earlier at about 1pm by cab (he spent a lot on cabs.. probably close to $80) and decorated the bed and made sure everything was ok-ay and he came to fetch me after that. That explained his sweaty and exhausted look! He is just so amazing!

bdaywbf08

Of course, such a beautiful bed had to be matched with a beautiful lady. Hence, the photo above. LOL. I was too busy exploring the room and telling him how sweet he was that I took a while to notice his gift. I first read the card and when I read it half-way, I teared again! When I opened the gift, I teared again! I teared because BF isn’t working now but he’s always so generous when comes to pampering me. He never think twice when he needed to buy me something. Even a S$6.00 magazine would stopped him.. but spending a bomb on me didn’t.

Here’s what the card says:

Dearest Wifey,

A very HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO YOU! You’re 21 now and officially an adult. Don’t you feel honored to celebrate this special once-in-a-lifetime occasion with me? Well, I’m sure you do.

I hope you like the surprises I planned for you and the gift. It took me a lot of efforts and careful considerations to plan your birthday so eventfully. Haha. Sometimes I ask myself why am I doing so much for you and spending so much money to make you happy. The answer is simple. It’s because I truly LOVE you and am so deeply in love with you that spending so much on you is nothing to me. What is most important to me is to see that sweet smile of yours and the tears of joy streaming down your pretty face.

Well, this is one of the most important occasions in life and I want you to remember this moment forever. We will definitely have more of such important celebrations in years to come.

We’ve been together for almost 3 years now and may our love for each other get stronger each day. Each new day is a new learning experience for us to adapt to each other and we must always be willing to learn each other’s way of doing things so we may live together peacefully. And I do want to tie the knot with you one day too. You’ve been such a big part of my life and I LOVE you so much that no words can describe.

Well, to conclude, I wish you happiness, good health and may you find your direction in life soon.

Once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Love,
Hubby

Isn’t he the sweetest man on earth? I have to agree that, yes, I LOVE EVERYTHING HE HAD DONE FOR ME!! This 21st birthday couldn’t get any better without him. He made it all possible – special, memorable and most importantly, his presence and his efforts! It was a great moment with him as I could feel as though we were like married couple already.

After reading the card, I sat on the bed and started to unwrap the gift. I wasn’t very sure what it was and I thought it could be some gaming console… I was, again, stunned when I saw what he bought. It was just so RIGHT ON TIME!

bdaywbf09

He bought me a new CAMERA! It was just so right on time as my current camera is giving me a lot of cranky problems.. it gets so hot (almost able to cook an egg) when I used it for a short while. Anyway, BF bought me a Fujifilm Finepix J150w Camera. The features were good, better than my current one! He knows I love gadgets! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!

bdaywbf14

bdaywbf10

I know if he had more money to spend, he would probably buy me a DSLR camera or some sorts.. But hey, this camera already cost him almost S$300! What a big hole in his pocket. Hotel almost S$200 a night.. plus the camera.. plus cab fares… up to this point, he spent almost S$600!!!

bdaywbf11Loving us! :P

As I knew he would spend a lot and coincidentally, I wanted to buy him his favorite PS3 games, I took this chance to give it to him as well. In addition, I handmade a very lovely poster for him (not of scrapbooking design though!).

bdaywbf12Him reading my handmade poster :P

When I gave the gift to him, he wasn’t sure what it was. He thought it was some books (weird guess!). But apprently, part of his brain he knew it was some games…. When he opened it up, he was delighted! From his look I knew he was happy. Very happy (I hope. Hehehe). I bought him a PS3 Skate and Skate 2. His wish to have it but couldn’t bear to part that kind of money for those stuffs and so, wifey was there to grant his wish!

bdaywbf13See! He is VERY HAPPY!

Tsk tsk. It was indeed a very happy day for us both.

bdaywbf16

favedited

Well, he was also telling me that he would like to bring me out for dinner and had already reserved a table. It cost about S$120. As I thought it would be nice to have a in-room dining experience, I told him he should actually cancel the reservation and we should just eat-in instead. However, as the menu didn’t really attract us (especially the prices), I decided to dine at a restaurant in Marina Square instead. After which, we could also get back early to the hotel and relax. Help save cost too! Gees.

We chose Billy Bombers (my favorite!) and I had an enjoyable dinner there with him. It already cost about S$70.

bdaywbf18

bdaywbf19

We had Cheese Fries, Sirloin Steak and Chicken + Ribs. Very yummylicious. Now I’m craving for their cheese fries again.. sinfully yummy.

After the dinner, we went around shopping. Apparently the supermarket there had closed long ago, we had no choice but to proceed to 7-Eleven to grab some wine and snacks (ripped off prices… grrr). When we went back to the hotel, BF was very mysterious again. He asked me to stay in the toilet till he asked me to go out. I wasn’t sure at that moment what was going on.. but later could feel that he was actually preparing a cake! And yes, that was what he was doing! He bought me a cake and he gave me another surprise with it!

bdaywbf15

I was very shocked because initially when we were in the hotel before dinner, I still asked him if there was any fridge in the hotel room. He told me there was none and I felt weird but didn’t think too much about it.. But apparently, he was LYING! He HID the cake in there and I was so foolish to believe at that point of time that there were no fridge! Now I know next time I should rummage all corners…… He is that cunning. Ohmigosh. But I was very elated again and I think I teared again too! Couldn’t remember how many times I teared exactly coz’ that day was really emotional (in a happy way).

See, I told you, I WAS ELATED!! :P

We spent a night together like old married couples and had mac delivery the next morning! Check-out at 3PM and headed home!

bdaywbf20The interior of the hotel.. GORGEOUS!

I still couldn’t really believe what had happened on my 21st birthday and things he had prepared and the feelings are just so surreal. I couldn’t imagine how a guy wouldn’t complain a single bit when spending too much on his GF.. especially when he isn’t working and have no savings.. For this special occasion, he had already spend near S$800 I believe. He’s so awesome and I couldn’t believe how many times had we almost lost one another unintentionally. It was so foolish. Relationship’s never easy if you thought it is.. especially when you’re so committed to it. We’ve come this far and have always been planning about our future. I really do hope that one fine day we’ll tie the knot and may we have many kids! Soon time passes, we’ll have many grand kids.. I don’t know how words can describe my love for him but yes, if he ever pop that question, I’ll say “I DO!” Sounds very desperate, I know. But I believe I’ve found the man I want to spend the rest of my life with.. to celebrate every single occasions with him, to spend every of my birthday with him and to have him by my side forever.

Thank You, Baby for making this 21st birthday of mine a perfect one. I appreciate all you had done.. all the efforts you had put in and how tedious it was. I know as I can see and can feel it. You’re such a perfect man. Boy, I wish time would stop at that point of time so we can enjoy it longer than we could. It was amazing, really. Totally incredible that even until now, I could still feel I just stepped into the hotel and all the surprises you had given me. It was totally fabulous.. out of my world. You’re the BEST and I love you truly, madly, deeply. xoxo.

bdaywbf17

Now, this fabulous photo shall end my beautiful entry. Tee-hee.

Next up, meeting Christina for belated celebration!
More of a catch-up session! ;)

Loving photography!

January 14, 2009

Finally a new post after almost a week!

Anyway, as mentioned HERE earlier, I was the photographer during New Year Eve @ my sister’s house.

Sister finally uploaded those photos (total of 140) and I really love some of it which I took using her Sony DSLR camera. Which, until now.. I’m still hoping to get a lovely DSLR on hand. I planned to get a normal digital camera or a “semi-DSLR” which costs slightly cheaper.. but thinking I could save another few hundreds (like probably $200), I could get a better camera aka my dream camera. So, why not?

photographer

So the above is the “Smart-me” with that beautiful camera. Taken @ sister’s living room.

I snapped whatever I could find at her house, lol. Motive is to test the camera and indeed it was sooo good. Definitely worth the price she paid for!

See this blythe doll (she has MANY of them).. nice skill eh? lol.

blythe

And well, here’s my nephew.. one of the limelight of the day. lol! He’s so “hensum” (handsome) right! Ha ha.

nephew

Anyway, Chinese New Year is near and I would probably blog lesser. Preparation etc is such a headache! But fun!

Well before I end this entry, I would love to mention that few days ago, Mom managed to dig out this very vintage camera for me – FUJICA MA-1. Super vintage lor! It’s been kept REALLY well somewhere at the corner of our house which no one managed to spot it and guess what? It’s looking VERY BRAND NEW! The camera is dust-free, and the pouch is looking like it’s just been bought! So excited when I see this.

cam1cam2cam3

I have just loaded it with a normal film – Fujifilm Superia 200 and have yet to complete taking photos. When I developed them, I shall scan and blog about it again! Hopefully my scanner won’t died on me and pray hard the film will be working!

Oh, I have been playing a lot on my toy cameras these days too… eeheheh.. I have many of them! Hahahah. Happy Chinese New Year in advanced everyone!

“Key to my Heart” necklace!!!

December 17, 2008

Hehehheh. As usual, I’m waiting for quite a no. of parcels to arrived @ my doorstep. When the door bell rang, I received this package today.

gift01

It was rather small, comes with a box and I can’t helped it but to wonder since when did I purchase such item(s). I don’t know. It was written as “Fashion Accessory” on the package. Puzzled. Totally. When I opened the box, I was still wondering since when did I bought something that small.

gift02

And guess what? I was totally stunned when I opened the box. It was from keytomyheart – the necklace I’ve been eyeing for a long time!!!

gift03

It’s a gift from my Baby! He knows I love it and I had blogged about it – here. He was such an amazing BF, isn’t he? Despite him still schooling and working part-time, he never fails to pamper me.

gift04

When I opened it up, I was amazed and nearly teared. He is just so good in surprising me. I was still in disbelief and I thought this was a dream. It comes with beautiful cards and packaging. The card was written with “Dearest wifey, Merry Christmas & love you so much!” It melts my heart COMPLETELY.

gift05

After much anticipation, I opened them up 1 by 1. First up, the heart-shaped box. Isn’t it so sweet and lovely? What a beautiful Christmas gift.

Next up…

gift06

I see the necklace! The swaroski crystal first appeared – white belongs to my birthday month and blue is BF’s.

I was getting REALLY excited and when I pulled it out..

gift07

.. I was stunned again!! It was made with really good solid silver. Fell in love with it completely. BF engraved each pendant with our names. Here’s a better image.

gift08

Heheh, can you feel how blissed I am now? This gift came at the right time today. It’s our 28th month anniversary and now this gift not only is my Christmas gift, it is now served as my anniversary gift too. LOL. Oh, guess what? I passed my driving for the 1st time yesterday too! Isn’t all good things come to my life now?? How sweet. :p

My eldest sister gave me an advanced gift too. She bought me a pair of diamond ear-stud.

diamondearring

Gorgeous pair! tee-hee!

Well, by the way, if you know of any cheap dealer that sells 1st/2nd hand cars, let me know! Rental cars too! Must be local – Singapore! ^^

Ikea trip

December 5, 2008

I tell you, the trip was real fun. But it sucks to wait for cabs in SINGAPORE. Sucks, totally. I shall tell you why later.

Well, like I mentioned, baby and I had been wanting to go to IKEA so badly but couldn’t find an appropriate day to. Fortunately, we managed to visit there yesterday and had a great time shopping for furnitures together (how nice if we were shopping for our own furnitures, tee-hee!).

It was raining heavily (bad weather for a day out), and had to call cab. Went to CMPB at Depot Road to fetch Baby and we went off to IKEA straight. What a waste of money eh? Spent like $15~$20 of cab fare just for 1 bloody trip. Damn the surcharges. I shall pray hard I will pass my 1st practical driving test on the 16th of December. Then I shall rent or WIN a car (through lucky draws). Lol.

01

Bought the bangles above few days ago and loving it. :P

We first stop over at Achorpoint and shopped around. Bought some “Wife Biscuits”, small bites, gifts and headed to IKEA. Took quite a number of photos there and it was helluva fun. It’s been so long since Baby and I last went for shopping. Missed it totally.

05us

Baby was looking for a new desk to replace his current one. Reason? Too small. Whereas me? Shopping aimlessly. lol. While we passed by the Children department, I was simply amazed by something.

02lightsThis!!!!!!!

Yadayada. Isn’t this beautiful???? It was so inexpensive! Cost only SGD9.90 and I grabbed two of it! The only expensive part of it is the bulbs. Cost about SGD16.90 for both. It’s still so worth it! I can’t imagine how beautiful my room will be once this is up on the wall. It’s quite troublesome though – got to drill it onto the wall. Baby said he will do the job. Hehehhe. It’s good to have a man in the house you see. :D

We continued our shopping and took some weird photos………………..

03giftscraze

Grabbing that gift boxes was Baby’s idea. He sat down on the turtle-like thing and he posed it with that gift boxes. I wasn’t even wanting to shoot him, but since with this cute little posture, I decided to take out my camera. lol. And so, I posed too.

IKEA’s house decorations are simply awesome. So cozy and warm! I always have the urge to revamp my room (or even the whole house) with IKEA’s house decoration ideas. They too, have many cute plushies!

04plushcraze

I wanted to purchase one with a heartshape and hands cushion, but decided not to coz’ Baby kept telling me I have a lot of cushions and pillows already.. Hurrhh. Anyway, the above photo of me was asked to pose like that by Baby. He asked me to grab them both and made it like the bears are kissing me, lol. I was laughing my ass off.

We had our dinner there as well – as usual, it’s yummy. Though it made me quite thirsty afterwards. Perhaps the large amount of MSG they use? Bleh.

Baby managed to get his new desk and me, my new lights. :D We both enjoyed ourselves.

06us

Ya, so one thing sucks about yesterday was the cab issue. We waited for the damn cab at the taxi stand for almost an hour. No cab turned in although we were 2nd in line. Tried calling but operator said no cabs at the area at that particular moment – all were fully BOOKED. Isn’t this crap??? This does not happened for the 1st time! For goodness! Singapore has so many cab companies.. and you get to see cabs EVERYWHERE. It’s either the cab is empty and the driver does not want to take you, or it’s lighted up with “On Call” sign. BULLSHIT.

I wonder what’s wrong with the cabbies? Surcharge been increasing, but their service is decreasing. I so wish I’m in Hong Kong coz’ in Hong Kong, cabs wait for you and not you wait for them! It’s so cheap too. No surcharge! Urrhhhh. Pissed.

Blah. HATE IT.

Anyway, I forgot to mentioned I bought new 2009 calendar and also a US Dollar Bill and it’s attached as below.

Bye!

Hotpot Culture – Marina Square

December 1, 2008

bfandme

Yadayada. Apologies for the 3 different post in a day. Thought I should blog about this since I’ve got the pics in my computer now (rather than in my external hard disk).

Few weeks ago on a Sunday (that’s probably the last time I went out), BF and I went to Marina Square for Hotpot Culture. Shopped at MUJI and bought some snacks (cost me $20+ for just snacks -_-) and shopped around. Above is the photo we took while waiting for bus to town @ the interchange.

food

Hotpot Culture’s really good. The herbal broth is a must-try. I don’t like the chicken broth though as it tastes quite weird. There were quite a no. of ingredients to choose from – both raw and cooked! I especially loved the beef slices. Very freshy and tasty. Heh heh. What bothered me was the drinks. No free water, and you still need to pay for the drinks. Per cup is about $2~$3+. I find it not really worth it coz’ when having steamboat, LOTS of water is needed. Hence, by ordering the drinks, it’s already costing us quite a bomb. We each ordered 2 drinks.. so waste of money. :(

Anyway, the chocolate fondue is nice too.. although not much to choose from. There’s only marshmallow and banana. But the chocolate is good – not too sweet not too bitter. Heheh.

We had ice-cream too. Take a look at the photo below.

icecream

Isn’t the right one looks disgusting? No prize for guessing who that belongs to. Hurrh.

Oh, and did I tell you? I crave for popcorn and nachos badly now. Really.

Time for some movies and furniture shopping at IKEA (probably this weekend!). *Excited*
